Elias The Band

Our Sophomore Effort

Released: October 7th 2008

Elias The Band used to be called Elias but found out there was a band from Vancouver called Elias too, so they changed their name to Elias The Band. This happened right after their first full length, Greatest Hits, was released on Blacktop Records. In between that super duper day in 2005 until this super duper day in 2008 the boys have been locked inside their barn writing rock songs and drinking mass amounts of beer. Some say they even see them having chainsaw fights and naked chess matches. Delbert sang his heart out and smoked 242 packs of cigarettes; Kyle played until his fingers fell off and his hair turned grey; Alex did the same but naked; Jerry slapped his bass silly and always wore sunglasses; Jackson broke 153 sticks and ate a lot of Subway. After a few bass player changes and a year at the studio the fine folks in Elias The Band bring you their follow up to Greatest Hits, Our Sophomore Effort. Our Sophomore Effort is an accurate time stamp of the band in those years. Loud, crazy, drugged, boozed, dance crazed, bouncy and pure punk rock.
