Amnesia Amnesia met on a cold winter night in Belleville, Ontario after being awakened in the middle of the night by a piercing scream. From the frost covered windows the boys could see the outline of a very tough looking bear. Not afraid, full of courage and without an amplified vocal source, Todd screamed the words, "Safe lines my night's sky!" The words caught the bear off guard, or it may have been the electric duel between Graham and Shayne's guitar. The bear's attention left the girl he was toying with and on towards his new prey. The three of them held their ground but without the backup of Jordan's thunderous bass and Jason's pounding drums it may have ended right there. That night the five boys became Amnesia Amnesia and provided the perfect soundtrack to battle all battles. Versus The Bear marks the first release from Amnesia Amnesia which retells the tale of how they met and the epic battle that they fought on that bitter night
